Excuse me, but...
...wasn't he jailed because he broke a law (occupying a restricted area of the aircraft and refusing to leave once warned)?
I mean yeah the guy's an asshole, no one should be arrested for behaving as such, but that's not why he was arrested. You're perfectly welcome to be rude to a police officer, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are also in violation of one or more laws.
