That of course being your opinion and definition of observant.
Unless you're a fundamental literalist (how are your slaves?) you must reasonably admit, if possible, that while various sects may squabble over what the correct interpretation is, the common rule among sects is to have a selective interpretation of the definition of observant.
I myself am considering it -- for religious reasons only. Religion is irrational.

The sad truth is I have read dozens of responses written by women who claim they cannot fuck a guy who is natural.
I have read dozens of responses by men who, because they lost their right to decide by being snipped before they could decide, take the high road and declare that it did not mean much to them anyway.
Neither of these groups is correct.
The women are wrong because they are man hating bigots.

Why this insistence on calling it "mutilation". Because most American men are circumcised it's the uncut ones that look "weird". Believe me many an uncut guy has heard in the shower "dude whats wrong with your dick? that thing is weird lookin'". Cut is the norm in this society. I'd love to see a poll of American women asking which they prefer. I'd guess cut would be around 90%. b

Two uncircumcised sons
Neither of our sons is circumcised because as non-Jews, we just could not see a reason except that they might look more like other boys were we to circumcise them--and this did not seem like an adequate reason. So far, neither boy (now me) have ever expressed regret, and the elder has expressed appreciation that he was not, in his words, "mutilated." I hope we did the right thing, though I sometimes worry.
Before I met my husband, my boyfriends were all rural southerners who were not circumcised, and I was frankly surprised to see what a circumcised man looked like! Believe me, it all makes no difference in terms of sexual appeal, in my opinion.
As for the family dynamics and cultural issues in the story, that's another question.

FYI, my circ was botched. I had five operations when I was 9-11 to fix the problems. The problem was my penis retracted back into the body where my body, thinking the shaft skin was not needed, consumed the shaft skin. So they had to take scrotal skin and stretch it over the penis shaft after pulling the penis back out of the body.
Lovely stuff.
How the hell do I even know what my original shaft skin would have felt, would have felt like when having sex?

I do not ask that only genitally mutilated women sleep with me. I could not imagine even thinking such a thing.
