Cannot escape moral relativism
As much as Baldwin would like to think he is a WWJD (what-would-Jesus-do) Absolutist, you cannot escape moral relativism. What the conservatives have accused liberals of doing over and over, at the expense of our society, is in practice by right-wing Jesus-freaks like Stephen.
Just watch the GOP crawl over all themselves with their moral relativism on this Foley Scandal. We'll see the same thing when Iraq stops being a republican war and gets scuttled under new Democratic leadership. All of a sudden, these Jesus-freaks will find out that the war is wrong.
