...but not exactly ground-breaking news. I guess it's good to know what kind of views are out there but this story doesn't do a lot to refute Lawrence Mitchell's repulsive generalizations. Amanda seems like a bit of a doormat and frankly, the kind of woman he's talking about -- and I know plenty of doormat women who aren't virgins. I lost my virginity at 17 and I used to be exactly like this before I grew some self-confidence, and my hymen or lack thereof had nothing to do with it.
Couldn't they have found a more rousing success story of a woman who found a positive, ongoing relationship with a man after revealing she was a virgin? (I kind of hate to think they really couldn't.)
