They called me a child pornographer

I took some photos of my kids naked on a camping trip. A drugstore employee called the police -- and my family's life became a living hell.

Out of their minds

I was outraged by this. The social system is operating off of/riding the crest of society's fear and lack of sexual understanding, operating virtually unchecked, and with no basis in reason or logical thought. Anyone who stands against it appears to stand against protecting children, and are associated with or thought to be among the pedophiles.

I worked some time in the Human Services in my area, and am all to familiar with what the system REALLY does: destroy families, displace children, and miss most of the REAL cases of abuse. So many times I have seen children ripped away from their parents, forced to live in an institution and then foster care, while we (those working in the system) KNEW the parent had done nothing wrong. But the bureaucracy and policy of the system left us with nothing to do to help. We simply had to proceed as though the parents were guilty.

Because that is how it is handled in the system: You ARE guilty BECAUSE OF the slightest suspicion cast upon you. Time has come for a cleansing and regulating of the Social Services System. The time has come when we should not feel afraid to confront a corrupt system, and be made to appear in league with the wrongdoers. The time has come for western society, and America and the UK specifically, to rethink human sexuality and the truth of "childhood", before we are driven further into a no-win, violence bound situation CAUSING children to get hurt.

Rudeness and unprofessionalism typical of Savannah Police Department.

The Savannah officer who was "rude, unprofessional, and very accusatory before hearing from anyone involved," typifies the service most Savannah residents have received from the Savannah Police Department.

This case in general also shows a common trend by the Savannah Police Department to worry about formal details of clearly innocent cases yet not focus at all on obvious crime that is commonly seen on the streets of Savannah. For example, I asked an officer parked at a gas station why he didn't arrest the guys standing a hundred feet away who were clearly selling drugs (and bold enough to do it right infront of an officer.) He said that they would just run or claim profiling/racism. He also said he didn't get paid enough to get shot.

However I've known of many cases where fairly harmless young kids in suburban neighborhoods had their doors beat down and their ribs crushed by raiding officers due to a lead saying they might have a bag of marijuana.

In addition, I work with Special Education students and have reported cases of neglect that have never resulted in any sort of reprimand. I was told it was because no one else would take in the kids.

unbelievable.

If I didn't know somebody to whom such an absurd story happened to , here , in Orange county , I would have a hard time to believe this story . I can't even imagine this happening to my family, I probably would react very violently. I have two babies , I photograph them all the time, and half of the time , yes, they are probably half naked. Being French living in California, and not trusting a bit the American justice system, I always keep my passport close to me. I recommend any allien living in the "land of the free, ah ah!.. to always be ready to leave at any time . Because when one read stories like this happening to the best parents and kids , you really wonder. the chain of individuals from the Eckerd store clerck to the cops to the DA prove that vicious systems only lead to hill behavior. To me , the employe desserve to be incarcereted a long time . Cowards like him always rejoy in participating in this kind of witch hunt. They enjoy their little power on other people so much. I hope that karma ll take care of such a low life one day. I wish you to recover well in France. And I encourage you to take all the family pictures you wish there , and you have nothing to worry about from the local photo processing store employees . It's a free country . Good luck.

Actually...

Mr. Linnenburger wrote:

"It is not my fault things have changed, blame the continuous breakdown of the moral character of the people of this country and liberal politics that justify freedoms like this."

Actually, Mr. Linnenburger, rates of child molestation are much, much lower in "liberal" countries like Sweden, Denmark, and so forth.

Indeed, to be blunt, I think that the character structure of conservatives makes them more likely to be child molesters, and the character structure of conservative societies is more likely to encourage child molestation.
