Ringing up baby
Rich, older moms in N.Y. and Chicago are snapping up $1,240 diaper bags and $500 bassinets. But the rest of the country is about to throw an enormous tantrum.

    Articles like these only reinforce my desire to remain childfree. I live in the Northeast, between Manhattan and Philly, and I would never want to raise a child in an atmosphere where mime classes for 2-year-olds and $115 haircuts prevail. Gack. I would never spend $900 on clothes for myself, much less for a baby who will outgrow them in a month!
