All that judgment
Laurel-- too much free time on your hands. Why don't you use that time to do something concrete about the things you gripe about? Your adoption stance is bizarre and truly, quite stupid. You judge from on high but your style of attack is way down low. You might do well to spend less time on-line, stomping and spewing.
Stellablue-- right on.
Ann Hood-- Thank you for a beautiful article.

also, beware that Laurel on adoption
she writes the same bitter nonsense whenever she can find the opportunity. the woman has some serious isses that obviously have nothing to do with the specific story. don't know what it is, but she a bitter lady.

goodbye laurel
I couldn't bring myself to read your entire rant, but when I did, it was even worse than I imagine. There's so much ridiculous content I have no time to comment on it all, but if you think you are doing something for foster kids just by paying taxes, you are a silly, silly, empty-headed nincumpoop. You are also doing something for war, corporate greed, and George Bush. The other way you contribute is by attacking people in Salon letters? Oh, honey, you are a pathetic soul. Don't know why I am bothering, but I just think your postings are despicable. I don't come at this with a personal adoption narrative -- like you, I just "know people" -- but I know enough people to know that you are a person I hope to never, ever know. You lack soul, you lack empathy, you lack common sense, and I'd guess that you lack friends.
