What helps me when I get fed up with being ripped off and treated badly is thinking about how my parents have always dealt with this issue. They take a patient, philosophical approach that says something like, "Well, there's always somebody that's trying to steal your money or take advantage."
It isn't a victim's way of thinking though. It's more like a type of pride in being the little guy who's hard-working and honest as opposed to the people that try to get their money by cheating or taking advantage. The little guy or gal can try his or her best to be a smart consumer, but you can't win every battle, so you count your blessings and take some small satisfaction in knowing that you are trying your best each day not be that big greedy jerk or weasel.
