    Federal Law is very clear on this issue

    Forget about talking to your boss or the vendor. Take the offending message with the entire contents to your Human Resources department. You have the right to remain anonymous and the management from your company can confront the management from their company about the issue.

    You a fully protected by Federal Law from having to deal with this bullshit.
