    LR, GET OUT NOW!!!!

I'm speaking as a former newspaper journalist-turned-freelance-writer/paralegal-and-aspiring-law student.

Go back to school. Get some other skills. I hate to tell you this and burst your bubble, but do it NOW!!! It'll be a lot harder if you wait until you have a wife and kid to support like I do.

With hard work and a major miracle, you might still be able to pursue a living as a print journalist, but don't count on it. Have a Plan B. And a Plan C. And a Plan D.
