My environmentalist husband won't let me use the dryer

I get by without a car and eat vegetarian, but sometimes it's a bit much.

your husband should be in charge of drying instead of making decisions about who is drying

Why not just have your husband be in charge of drying the clothes and you can take on one of the tasks he currently does that while just as time consuming uses less carbon.

I think it is great to be concerned about the environment like your husband (especially about climate change) but it is better to make smart choices that really have an impact not just to to do things because they are difficult so it seems like you are making a big impact. How often do you fly? I am sure one trip negates a year or more or no dryer.
