A couple of questions....
How long has the restaurant been open?
If it's only been a short time, there may be some sense to sticking with it for a while. New businesses usually need a year or more to just break even. Restaurants are riskier than most businesses.
How close is it to breaking even? A few percent, or is it losing a lot of money? What is the trend, moneywise?
Is there a point where hubby would just give up?

In any case, violence or the threat of violence is simply unacceptable. Guys, when fighting, do not tell each other "I could kill you" unless they really mean it.
