My married boyfriend's ditching me for Christmas
He's going home to his family without me. Could that be because we're both still hitched?

  • Self-centered?

    I think the LW is the most self-centered person in that relationship. Cary was nice, but his response should have been "Duh."

    Do you really want to go hang out with his family this year? If you guys stay together, there will be plenty of those and you'll wish you didn't have to go - probably 2 years from now you'll be writing in asking why your new MIL is so self-centered that she wants her son and you to travel to her house for Christmas. Merry Fucking Christmas!
