If Britney Spears shouldn't be naked in front of her kids, what about me?

I'm naked in front of my kids all the time, but I'm no slut! I'm a good responsible mom!

It's only a problem if you've got an ex

Britney's nudity wouldn't be a problem if her marriage was intact. It's the break up and the fact that she was filmed driving with one of the kids on her lap that invited so much scrutiny into their lives. Frighteningly, a fair amount of psychology is a guess, based on the therapists experience or the experiences of his/her instructors. Sometimes they're right, over time, new theories emerge and they are are "proved" wrong. Breast v. bottle; cloth v. disposable; family bed v. ferberize -- there's no shortage of opinions about the irreperable harm you are doing when you chose against the current flavor of the month. And we have an obsession with telling others how to run their lives and raise their kids. Heck, you'll encounter a fair number of supposedly liberal Salonistas who think that raising your kids Christian is child abuse. Do yourself a favor, and keep your nudism as low key as possible. Child protective services is the last bunch you want snooping thru your life. I'm a foster parent to a lovely child who should never have been ripped from his mother's arms. I've seen first hand what well meaning but misguided 'experts' are capable of.
