Warn your kids about the cops
All these letters yet no one has mentioned the most dangerous part of kids messing around with illegal drugs, which is, of course, the police. There's a gigantic multi-billion dollar industry in the U.S.A. devoted to mercilessly, viciously abusing people who take drugs. Not warning your children about the constant dire threat from drug warriors is like neglecting to tell them to look out for traffic when they cross the street.
Not taking drugs at all won't even do your kids any good; ask the Tulia 46 or Patrick Dorismond - or rather, his next of kin.
What every parent needs to make explicitly clear to his children is that drug cops always lie like they breathe and cannot ever be trusted under any circumstances, that they are never on your side, and they will stop at nothing in their desire to kidnap and imprison unoffending citizens, to rob them their property, and to destroy their future.
Of course, none of the above applies to multi-millionaires! If you are a multi-millionaire then any and all drugs are effortlessly accessible and perfectly legal, and you are free to indulge and overindulge even in public. In fact, even when you binge out and have to be carted off to rehab, the entertainment media will still make a popular hero out of you.
