My Southern grandmother is dying, and I don't want to go back
I finally escaped the deadly web of small-town Southern life. But it keeps pulling on me!

  • I have Southern inlaws and it's a regular 3 ring circus compared to my Northern family.

    so that's YOUR family. It in NO way means that all Southern families are crazy and all northern families are sane. Please.

    We only need look at literature, film, essays to know that families are crazy all over the world.
