    blurbs

    fyi to scavok: i'm not a huge tennis fan, and his request for blurbs is certainly unorthodox. however, his method will probably yield blurbs MORE honest than those procured the normal way. at least his readers are actually genuine fans.

    here's the thing: those blurbs you see on book covers are hardly ever written out of actual admiration for the book itself. it's almost always a matter of personal friendship, politeness, or to repay a favor to someone. duh!
