We're Stanford juniors in love, but the initial fizz is gone.
  • No one is immune...

LW's issue is common and dare I say, mediocre? But he's confused and frustrated because mediocrity never afflicts rising juniors at Stanford. I'm sure that by putting their two brilliant minds together, a workable solution can emerge.

I just have to say that I was put off by LW's citing of irrelevant factors. Does it really matter which school they attend or that his gal is gorgeous? I can only imagine this kid at social events parading his resume and his gf. Let's hope that he grows out of it. Maybe Stanford offers self-awareness classes from which LW could benefit greatly. Falling flat on his face a few times may work wonders too. We plebeians call this experience. LW may have a fancier word for it.
