    not that lots of men aren't stupid but so are lots of women

    and the fact that men feel the need to apologize for other men to women but women don't feel the need to apologize to men for the obnoxious behavior of women ought to tell anyone with a logical mind that we have yet another rock on the mountain of evidence that men and women are in a different position when it comes to convincing the other gender to regard them positively.
