freaks me out too.
Ok, LW, i am in total agreement. Now, i am also a woman, so maybe i'm not providing the perspective that you need, but after recently seeing a Playboy and this new bush-less phenomenon I am freaked out. And no one else that I mention it to really seems to be.
If my man asked me to do it, I would consider - CONSIDER- it, and probably decide that I don't want to for many of the reasons you and Cary suggested and some of my own (looks weird when done, uncomfortable to maintain, unrealistic for a grown woman, etc). What got me about the pics I saw was that the shape of everything was so apparent, or rather lack of shape - i.e. most of the women had no labia. Maybe it was airbrushed but it looked WRONG. And I had my answer to "Why does anyone want labioplasty? Who sees that so closely that they would dare to criticize or feel bad?"
I think that the mainstreaming of porn has a lot to do with it. Don't jump on a trend that you aren't comfortable with just to please someone else.
