@ chartruesecrow, something stinks, Patrick McEvoy-Halson, Rance Spergl

    Did you miss this line?

"Hines, the granddaughter of Freeman's first wife Jeanette Adair Bradshaw, has been part of Freeman's family since childhood. According the original Enquirer story, Hines and Freeman have been having an affair for over a decade." If Dena Hines is 27 now, she was around 16 when this "affair" started.

That is pretty sick and yes, it smacks of pedophilia. Sure, a 16 year old girl has the body of a woman, but very little of the power. In case you need it spelled out for you, one of the many disgusting things about pedophilia is the discrepancy in power between the two parties involved: an adult and a child. Then the added outrage factor is that Mr. Freeman was in a position of trust as her grandfather. In a healthy situation he would be outraged if his 16 year old granddaughter thought it was ok to "date" a 62 year old man. Would any of you be ok with the prospect of your 16 year old daughter, or sister "dating" a 62 year old man?

The reason why these comments piss me off so much is that it is these kind of blase, prurient or naive attitudes about this kind of behavior is what keeps it going strong in our country and the world.

Wake the fuck up and stop thinking with your soulless penises!

I may sound pretty provincial, but I will be not be seeing any of Mr. Freeman's projects as I have avoided other performers who have committed similar acts. Their manipulative, cruel, criminal acts overshadow all of their talent and artistry.

@ sethbdoe Actually, this is very newsworthy and I appreciate the coverage. I guess the coverage of Bernie Madoff bores you as well. I mean, his victims were all consenting adults, right?
