Should Obama have picked Hillary?

Did the GOP just co-opt the Democrats' chance at making history? Sarah Palin, a conservative, antiabortion, pro-NRA Republican may just be the first woman in the White House.

The letters thread is now closed.

I am extremely disappointed in Salon

Hardly a bit about Obama's speech last night.

Then multiple piecces about Palin, and what it means.....

All on a long weekend when nothing will be reported.

This is not how I expected this week to end at all. Especially since all went so well, and outside of this publication I fell great going into the general election. This all feels like me-too MSM.

Hillary

Is better looking than Palin.

no, he should not have picked hillary

nothing would have united the wingnuts more than hillary clinton on the ticket

she crippled obama in the prolonged primary

the list goes on and on

as much as i disliked hillary, at least she isn't this nightmare that is Palin

give me a break

beauty queen who is a creationist and Assembly of God whack job?

McCain will die of old age in office and then this nut will be our president.

Theocracy Accomplished.

Myopic

Ms. Traister, you need to take off the gender colored lenses.

Enough already!

It hasn't even been 24 hours yet and I'm sick of it! Can't anyone else see this is exactly the intention of the McSame campaign! You're allowing them to steal Obama's thunder! Don't give in! Fight!

Hillary Will Never Die

Rebecca, your a broken record. These kind of postings make me embarrased to be a Democrat.

Get a room.

The girl-chubby for Sarah Who is embarrassing.

what vapid crap

Sounds like concern trolling from the AP or Fox News. McCain just handed Dems an instant comeback if he makes any more noises on Obama's so called lack of experience.

And let's get real here: how many die hard Hillary supporters are really going to vote for Palin just because she's a woman, when the governor of Alaska is pretty much opposed to everything Hillary believes in and campaigned for?
