Yogurt, Weddings, etc.

I LOVE Sarah Haskins and her Target: Women videos!

Lame commercials are equal opportunity

I certainly agree that the girltalk commercials are dumb, but I've seen equally stupid commercials featuring men talking about cars and HDTV.

@Orange Swan

Agreed. And I would welcome a smart comedian to take down the endless parade of clueless dads, men obsessed with hemis, men talking about ed with their buddies, and the like. In the meantime, I'll enjoy Sarah Haskins taking on all the yogurt-orgasming, bowel-trouble-sharing, bridezillas.

Sarah Haskins is great

She's the Colbert Report of advertising/cultural stereotypes: she shows us what the industry thinks of us in their own words and is hilarious while she's doing it. I'm thrilled to see she's writing a movie. :)

(This hoopskirt makes my balls sweaty.)

Other advertising stuff I could do without:

--kids who will only eat yogurt (or yogurt-like product) from a tube

--old people that look like they could run around the block faster than me advertising COPD inhalers

--skinny old people (that look like they could run around the block faster than me) in the Scooter Store ad

Broadsheet, here's a simple rule:

You can never have too much Sarah Haskins.
