    My assumption is . . . .

    That this is a classic bible-belt mentality. After 8 years of Geo Bush, a recovered alcoholic and bible thumper and texas dude, this does not shock me. Between mega churches and privately owned and run prisons (as a business complete with stockholders), etc., I'm not moving there any time soon. One of my relatives, who lives in Houston, says when answering the phone: "It's a beautiful day for Jesus". This is nothing less than American's Taliban.
