Your daily Palin

Sarah Palin May Be...

one of the main reasons the Republican Party fades into nonrelevance to America - just as the Federalist and Whig parties (its predecessors) faded into nonexistence.

Meanwhile, Saturday Night Live has become an important way to stave off the depression arising out of our deepening recession.

Plain Palin for Dog-Catcher! Or Coroner!

Whether candidate or king-maker, this is a banana republic of our future. I'd be afraid, all right. So to head this off, what to do? Deport the lot of them? Discrediting seems not to slow them down? Aha!! Confiscate their wealth. It's mostly ill-gotten gain anyway. That would infuriate them further, but maybe they'd run to Switzerland to be with their money. South Africa wouldn't take them. How about, we trick them all into enlisting, and send the whole shebang to Afghanistan? We'd find out then if they can or will put their feet where their mouths are! Wow; Taliban versus Limbaugh and the like? Fair fight.

Too Late for Sarah

Greetings

Day late and a dollar short is poor little Sarah. She'll be beating a dead moose ;)

When her soul mate Michelle Bachmann can ignite a firestorm by saying the usual rightist "flag pin lapel" attacks is a sign that politics of rovian attacks have long past.

Not sure why perhaps the foreclosure of your home and implosion of your 401 focuses the mind wonderfuly. Maybe the culture wars not so important when your shopping at Walmart and Goodwill.

The anti-gay campaign has to be past its "sell-by" with all those christian soldiers inviting Ellen DeGeneres into their homes for coffee every day...

No matter, watching the number of conservative elites who are running away from the McMaverick/Fashionista disaster, the blame game starts soon and with it the slow ugly disolution of the Republican Party as we know it

The Libertarian West is already leaving with their guns(see Montan, ND) and with the small government tax haters will give the evangelicals heave ho while the Neo-Con elites...

No Sarah best hope for Cable stardom

The Stupidity Is Stunning

I would have to say that Palin has balls but she has No BRAINS. She is like an out of control machine gun spewing nonsense all over the campaign trail! Try as she might to get even ONE fact straight, she fails miserably. She is a detriment to John McCain's campaign, her state and this country. I am still completely astounded at John McCain's choice of Palin for VP!

I wouldn't be suprised if she did run for the senate but I don't think she'd get very far after all of this. Not only the things that she has said in this campaign, but the ongoing investigation into her abuse of power as Governer will hurt her chances for that as well.

To tell you the truth, I hope she continues to speak out Loudly at every rally until election day. She is actually helping the Obama campaign by spewing this crap. People are sick to death of the smears and outright lies that are coming out of her mouth. The best thing she could have done was to label red states as "Pro-American" and blue states as "Un-American" That stings the majority of Americans to the bone and they are starting to realize the magnitude of her insult to them. Go Sarah! Win us the election by shooting off your mouth for the next 10 days!

As they say "You can't fix stupid".

I am not worried on this one, to borrow a quoted line, "You can't fix stupid", there is no help for her, no amount of her "getting her learn on" will help her, especially when she honestly believes she knows what she is talking about. No Mrs Alaska does not go to Washington. She'll pick up a cheesy TV job on Fox, unlike Dennis Miller, she won't get kicked back to radio, because she is eye-candy for conservatives who are tired of looking at men-in-drag like Ann Coulter.

I could see her as host of a new TV cooking show

showing " christian-feminist" pro-life women everywhere how to dress a moose without getting blood on your new, $100 manicured, wrapped, long fingernails!

Sarah will be back

Make no bones about it.

She has a minimum of four years make a few diplomatic trips to Moscow and Siberia, to Breakground on her pipeline, to reach across the aisle to work with the New Democratic Senator from Alaska to help free our dependance on foreign oil.

When she shows up on Saturday Night Live opposite Recent Oscar Nom Tina Fey to announce in 2011, expect a very differnt woman from the skitish gal you met in 2008.

Most of the foolishness we've seen has been the result of McCain utterly mismanaging Palin, a smart handler would have written out a smart description of the V.P.'s job the second she made her joke about what the V.P. does.

So in 2011, a polished Palin ready with foreign policy credentials, and her own message to stay on ready to run.

And she'll likely get the nod too. Maverik outsider, beloved by the volunteer base, and a candidate of change to boot, once she shows she has learned to speak in complete sentences she'll be a bigger shoein then Bush in 2000.

Now, she'll probably lose in 2012 if she runs then. The smart money is for her to pop up as a commentator from Alaska during that camapaign when Mitt is having his ass handed to him by Obama. Then to show up in 2015 to announce. She'll be on to her third term as governor then, have some real significant accomplishments, won't have to run against the incumbant and be nearly undeaftable...sort of like Hillary Clinton was supposed to be had not a charismatic black man shown up in 2004.

Which of course is the problem with waiting. If you wait your run the risk of missing your time, if you run right away you run the risk of being seen as too presumptuous.

2012 will be a tough one for the Republicans. Any economic redemption or peace dividend will be Obama's, and if we're still stuck in war and the economy in shambles, he can probably still blame it on the Republicans.

But in 2016, who knows who the new shining star of Republicanism will be.

If Palin's smart she'll make sure she gets to introduce the nominee in 2012.
