So lucky for Palin she's not an advocate for women at large...

I guess. Per Atwood she can be successful.... unlucky rest of us.

Makes sense

Think about it.

What do most women who advocate on behalf of women profess to want?

Well, as one prime example, they want free and easy baby killing up to the moment before birth and without any input from the mere father of the child, even if it was an accidental pregnancy. So men get saddled with consequences, but women have choices.

They want to make stuff up about women making less money and they want it to be believed even when the facts state otherwise.

They want a society where women are free to express themselves, screw who they please, even if the guy has no redeeming value, then have society clean up the mess and pay for it.

They want a world where women raise boys alone, indoctrinating the boys in all sorts of distorted and HARMFUL beliefs while the men pine, alone, wishing there was some just way to have men and women live together. Of course, the only answer the women offer is that the men need to walk on eggshells and do EXACTLY as the women want or else the men DESERVE to be thrown to the curb.

They want the men to be the ones killing themselves on behalf of the nation while they get to stay home and live for another generation. Oh and they get to criticize it all too.

In sum, they want all the benefits and freedoms of society for the women and all the responsibilities and sorrows of society for the men.

If a man EVER ran on a platform like this, but in reverse, where the men get all the freedoms and make all the decisions and women are responsible for making everything HAPPEN based on the decisions the men make AND THEY SUFFER FOR IT IF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH, it would never fly EITHER.

And don't even bother responding that feminism is not about this. I care not about boilerplate propaganda but about the reality on the street and in the society.

Hmm...

Methinks Brightstar needs to get laid.

Think about it.

sp

So not only is Sarah Palin intelligent with high morals,

she is also physically beautiful!

I did think about it

which is why I concluded what I did.

and since you had nothing to counter my arguments with, it was natural for you to resort to one of the typical tired ad hominems you women lash out with when faced with opposition from men.

Doesn't really make much sense.

Well, as one prime example, they want free and easy baby killing up to the moment before birth and without any input from the mere father of the child, even if it was an accidental pregnancy. So men get saddled with consequences, but women have choices.

I don't know a single woman who wants abortion up to the moment before birth. Do you? Is there anyone here at Broadsheet who advocates that?

There is indeed a certain imbalance; you are right to point it out. But don't exaggerate it. You forget a lot of men don't want the babies, actually encourage their partners to indulge in "baby killing," and try to run away as soon as they can, leaving the mother with a baby and no help.

Can you propose a draft of a law that would allow men to have choices, and that wouldn't at the same time allow a number of men to just leave their offspring without support, as if they had nothing to do with them?

They want to make stuff up about women making less money and they want it to be believed even when the facts state otherwise.

The facts don't state otherwise. Any stats?

They want a society where women are free to express themselves, screw who they please, even if the guy has no redeeming value, then have society clean up the mess and pay for it.

Everybody should be free to screw who they please; and redeeming value is always in the eye of the beholder. Of course society shouldn't have to pay for the mess. What I don't see is women only wanting this. So many men seem happy with their own welfare checks!...

They want a world where women raise boys alone, indoctrinating the boys in all sorts of distorted and HARMFUL beliefs while the men pine, alone, wishing there was some just way to have men and women live together.

I haven't seen evidence of this thus far. Your mother, for instance, apparently didn't do this to you. Was she the only one? (I'll jump to defend my mother if you attack her, like a good Latino...)

They want the men to be the ones killing themselves on behalf of the nation while they get to stay home and live for another generation. Oh and they get to criticize it all too.

Men don't criticize it any less than women do, as you'll see by looking at any political blogs. And feminists--hell, just ask the ones here at BS--are in favor of women in the military, dying for their countries. So many did die for the old USSR in World War II!... It's the men in charge of the military who don't let them in, Brightstar, as I keep always pointing out to you. Why don't you accuse them of conspiring against men?

In sum, they want all the benefits and freedoms of society for the women and all the responsibilities and sorrows of society for the men.

Last time I checked, men have all the political rights that women have; and women bear as much responsibility for the sorrows as men. Stats, data?

If a man EVER ran on a platform like this, but in reverse, where the men get all the freedoms and make all the decisions and women are responsible for making everything HAPPEN based on the decisions the men make AND THEY SUFFER FOR IT IF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH, it would never fly EITHER.

Ah, so you think that AKASmith was talking about open revolution by women against men? You didn't read her second post then?... :-) Seriously, man: she's not advocating the enslavement of men. Just ask her. She's just talking about women caring about each other instead of fighting against each other. Internal fights never help anybody; why would they in this cae?

And don't even bother responding that feminism is not about this. I care not about boilerplate propaganda but about the reality on the street and in the society.

You're the one whose posts look like a repetition of each other. Boilerplate propaganda? Is that the new word for 'not listening to other people'? That sounds sooo full of ideology, Brightstar; like, 'I am right, and don't try to prove I'm wrong, because even if I'm wrong, I'm still right, and I don't want to know about being wrong!'

Puhleeze....
