I buy 34G's at Dillards. Great size selection in several different brands (Lunaire, Cabernet, Wacoal etc.), lots of styles and sizes.
Much, much better prices than Nordstrom's or Macy's.
Title IX is great for sports bras. Champion makes a couple that hold everything in place:-)
You must be a skinny little thing, Ms. Harding, because, while having the band stay in place the way it should (and good luck with finding a perfect fit for that for many of us, btw), a small band when there's any, let's call it, softness on the back and sides will result in some overlap.
Bras for the larger ladies (and not necessarily that large a lady, ahem) with wide bands eliminate a lot of this problem.
Most bras are poorly designed in many, many ways. I didn't notice the problem so much when I was a skinny little thing either.
It doesn't matter what size you are; bra shopping sucks. I've been liking the Gap's undies lately for price and variety, but I still have to try on every style in a couple sizes because they're all different. I don't know if it's manufacturer/human error or just a screwy sizing system or something else, but it's an arduous task. Much like finding good jeans. Or suits. Or skirts. Or t-shirts. I'm noticing a pattern here...
I know I don't....I've been in a 32 b for 6 years and that was through my pregnancy....even though my mom had lent me some of her nursing bras....which have noooo support what-so-ever..
They need a knew line of nursing bras with maximum support and half sizes and built in lactation pad holders.
Personally, I still think Jah Wobble is a better bassist than Breast Wobble.
For all the badly bra'd, whether small or large, try the Interwebs! I can never hope to find my size (34F) in a store other than a lingerie store, and bras tend to be wildly expensive there. But I can find, comparison shop, and order bras online with no problem.
The rub? You first have to find out your true size. I did this by going to one of the wildy expensive lingerie shops and getting measured (and trying on a few bras for good measure), then airily waving good-bye without purchasing anything there and ordering similar bras online for a fraction of the price. If one lives in an area where there aren't that many places to get measured--hell, I live in NYC and there aren't all that many here!--this can be problematic. I know Macy's will still measure (if you can find a clerk on the floor), and I think Nordstrom's will as well. If all else fails, a sympathetic friend with a tape measure, and a willingness to keep ordering and sending back bras until you find one that fits may be all you need.
Thank you!
P.S. Pics like this are also good:

This shouldn't be news, but it's not just our big-boobed sisters that are wearing bras that don't fit. There are studies out there that show over 80% of women are wearing the wrong-sized bra! If we can figure out how to update our Facebook status from a cell phone, how come we keep choosing the wrong sized bra? Now seriously, what's the deal with that?
Maybe it's that stupid traditional method of measuring? I never remember how to do it (is it add 5 inches to the band measurement, and 2 inch difference means another cup size? oh forget it! i think i look like a....36C!) and it seems those lingerie ladies in the stores aren't doing a better job of measuring us either. Who came up with this crappy system anyway?
Ladies -- there is a godsend on the horizon! There's finally a way to get the correct bra size without having to do any kind of weirdo-math that may or may not give you what you need. I discovered this little invention called SIZE ME UP. It takes about 30 seconds to find the correct bra size. Apparently it was invented by a plastic surgeon who specializes in -- you guessed it -- boobs! But instead of surgery, you just find a better bra. This thing should not be kept a secret!! My tits looked 100 times better just after getting a bra that fit.
If bra makers want us to buy their bras and have them fit the first time, they should be encouraging women to get this measuring system FIRST. Sports bras, support bras, 100-different way bras -- we all gotta fit properly in 'em to get our girls to look good. Maybe it'll even help them make a better bra for us?
It can be hard even in the midranges to find bras that fit properly. I just found a line that does me right, and everyday I'm thankful for them. Even with my B cup, exercise hurts if the bra doesn't do its job, I can't imagine what it's like for a Rack of Doom. I think I'd sit on my butt all day rather than go through that sort of pain.
Breast reduction can be an option, but clothes that fit strike me as a much better one. I'm no expert, but my guess is that reductions can interfere with nipple sensitivity and breastfeeding, each important in their own way.
The Title Nine catalog offers great exercise bras for breasts of (nearly) any size.
I have sympathy for my sisters with "itty bitty titties" (my brother in law's term for my sister's bosum)who can't find a bra to fit. However, I am a 34G. Sounds like something from a porno movie, right? Fortunately, they don't look that big--most other women would guess a DD. Try finding a 34G. Just try. You can go to Nordstroms which has a selection (and they do a great job fitting you) but expect to pay $80 for a bra. Otherwise, you're pretty much out of luck.
I'm post menopausal--can't nurse. I'd prefer not to have breast reduction as I've had some very serious surgery and I just don't want to go under the knife for cosmetic purposes. And, I'm a good weight for my age and very fit, so don't tell me to lose weight.
The worst part--a good bra makes a large busted woman look incredibly better. So, I've gone to Nordstroms and spent enough money to buy a good suit on a couple of bras. Please--someone make large cupped bras for none overweight women! Please!
