It seems a trustworthy woman is pretty much an under control doormat. Also, Doc Love often labels women liars with no proof whatsoever. Seems to be a bit of a specialty.

LTRs are rather depend upon how that is defined. Walter himself is juggling four women (he says) so fidelity would not be his strong suit even though he is a true believer.

Personally, I would rather end up with one of those PUA types who mainly wanted variety and one night stands than trapped with one of those System guys. However, that would never happen. I am waaaay too assertive. The best thing about these guys is that they are supposed to go away.

Your last post made me sad. First of all, how would you know if he were a habitual rapist? It's not like habitual rapists walk around with it branded on their foreheads. You can assume that most of his victims are not leaping up to tell the world, either. How many people did you tell?

I've only really known two rapists well enough to have an opinion of them. One was my foster daughter's father. He was a bank president, a church-goer, and a solid member of society. He was so outwardly respectable that when presented with undeniable physical evidence of violent rape of a thirteen-year-old girl, the court sentenced him to six sessions of counseling.

The other was a young Marine. He was very handsome and very charming. We later learned that he was married and had two small children. He's the one who raped my obese friend. This was at a camping retreat. I danced with him and flirted with him - he didn't trigger any alarms with me at all. The only odd thing is that I would have guessed that he was gay - there's a certain reaction women get from men, even if the man's married or not particularly interested - that sizing up of how attractive you are. That was missing. He was polite and even flirty, but there was a sense that I didn't have whatever he was looking for, which I've only otherwise encountered with gay men. It turned out that he was looking for a fat woman. He raped my friend extremely brutally - she had chunks bitten out of her flesh - and then curled up in a puddle of her blood and went to sleep, innocent as a kitten, while she ran for help. When the men at the campsite woke him, he was apparently surprised to be bothered and asked what it was all about - while covered in blood. The men were so disoriented by his behavior that what had started as a lynch mob dispersed without doing anything. In the end he wasn't even arrested.

Sorry, that got a bit gruesome. But my point is, habitual rapists don't look like any one thing. And it's very normal for them to fuck with people's minds. Their behavior is anyone's fault but theirs. Or it's something they wish they could control but they can't. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard a pedophile cry and say he can't help himself, I could buy myself a pony. For every guy who says he was too worked up to stop and his high heart rate forced him to rape, there are three guys who cursed the woman for saying no and wanted to put their fist through a brick wall and then walked away, because THAT IS WHAT NORMAL MEN DO IN THAT SITUATION.
