I have no problem with Ms. Clark-Flory's analysis. I'm just wondering why studies of 90 people are even being published and commented on. You learn in basic statistics classes that sample sizes of fewer than 200 people are generally considered useless. There's no way you can draw accurate conclusions from 60 males and 30 females.
I'm also wondering how anyone who's read a book, watched TV or seen a movie can think "I want to be friends," means "By all means, continue." It's one of the most cliched brush-offs we have.
