"Poor men (less than $100 million in assets give or take) have nobody to support their needs."

The government is run by rich people who support women's issues and rich men's issues.

So you're saying that most of the people in the Senate, House and executive branch offices have more than $100 million in assets? What if I told you only 4 senators do?

And I would wager that none of the people sitting on the Supreme Court come even close.

So is that why the ERA was defeated? Or did women secretly actually want its defeat? Who got it passed in 37 of the 39 required states then?

you've never heard of suck ups?

Many people play up to those who are more elite and wealthier. It is pathetic, but that is human nature to do what you think your elites want from you rather than what is right.

The $100mil number is a guess anyway, maybe it is $5mil.

My statement stands. Who does support the needs of average men?

"My statement stands. Who does support the needs of average men?"

All the people who work in government who are "average." All the executive branch agency career staffers, all the federal judges, all the state legislatures and governments, state judges. Most people do not have $5 million in assets. Most people are average people.

And you didn't answer my question about the ERA -- what happened there? Did the women or the men scuttle it?

i'll advance to you that, like you, many powerful men feel as if they are superfluous in the modern world as long as women control reproduction. fighting in combat is one of the last only-male things left, and if men puts guns in the hands of women and tell them to go kill the enemy (which the women certainly will), then that will be the last wall torn down of women's emancipation, and the men will feel completely useless -- the women can even protect themselves! Lots of men don't want this to happen. Also, most men like their women feminine. Combat soldiering is anything but feminine.
