I know this may be hard to believe, but I don't believe the media or anyone in particular ever claimed Hillary was the actual perp who killed Vince Foster. Poliicians tend to have other to do their "wetwork" for them.

For all we know, Hilary could have been in the room at the time, practicing her drawing skills on a sketchpad. Much as we like to think we know our public figures, we really have no idea what they do in their private lives. Frankly, it is probably for the best.

To agree with Kate, not only is this not news, but it is also not suprising. The White House is a big place, and the president and first lady (even the current ones) are busy people, usually surrounded by a swarm of assistants. It wouldn't suprise me if it was the norm that they go full days without seeing each other.

What? If she wasn't a Clinton she wouldn't be so hated. There is a terrible ammount of animosity from Republicans towards her because of who she is as an individual not related to her gender.

Actually Kate, there are some pretty well documented reasons that have nothing to do with her gender... They just get ignored by everyone... Check my previous posts. For the occasional name call, no one has ever challenged the veracity of my reasons.

Calling Vince Foster's death a "major event" of Bill's presidency--compared to what, NAFTA? DOMA? Welfare reform? Bombing in Kosovo? come ON--is miso-Clinton-ist, not misogynist.

Hillary is trading on her experience during Bill's administration, but it's a time about which people have very strong, very differing feelings. Come on, Bill got IMPEACHED. Obviously a lot of people didn't like him. And since she wants to claim the good parts of that administration, she gets the bad parts too.

There may be other examples of misogyny, but this is about Bill.

Myself, I read the story when it came out, and I was appalled. First of all, it was a story about nothing, there was no news of any kind in it. But it served simply as a vehicle to bring up salacious details once again, and frankly, to shame and humiliate Hillary. Again. The Freedom of Information request was put in with all the high flown rhetoric you would expect, and what is the very first thing the press does with the information? Dig for secret meetings, try and find lies, develop a picture of day to day life in the White House? No, it's that Hillary was in the building when Bill got the blow-job. How commander in chief of her.

Yes, it was sexism, pure and simple.
