    It sounds like you're spending too much time making your own pads and contemplating the inherent evil of sanitary pad companies and smarmy men objectifying women.

    They call men's health issues in advertisements by their names; i.e., erectile dysfunction, "if you experience an erection lasting...," and so forth. So, yes, I would be offended at a spot that used a beaver or other slang expression to discuss a very normal product that we all know exists. I'm tired of womens' health being trivialized and taking a back seat anyway. Reducing it to a cartoon makes the issue of womens' health seem childish - and offensive.
