why?
"I've always found it hard to believe that people who wish to ban abortion also consistently refuse pre-natal testing."
Many pro-lifers are decidedly religious.
Therefore, they want to leave things "in God's hands." Prenatal testing would allow mortals to "play God", plus "science" can't compare to Faith, so who says these prenatal tests are accurate? Doctors can be wrong, and miracles can happen if you just accept Jesus into your heart ...
(Thus sayeth the Believer who is anti-abortion and anti-prenatal testing. Of which I am neither.)
