I really don't know which Anonymous you are. There seem to be a number of them. However, to your argument that Hillary got certain breaks because of her position as Bill's wife I say: So what? This does not mean that she did not fulfill the responsibilities of those positions. If she is elected president, it will be because the voters will have decided that she is qualifed. They get to do that, you know.
History is filled with women who advanced do to advantages confered upon them by husbands and fathers. This is because it has been a man's world, pure and simple -- or maybe not so pure. When you solve the problem of sexism against women so that it no longer exists, then you can claim it is somehow unfair that some women advance in part because of men they are connected to. Until then, I hope you won't mind if I dismiss your argument as mean-spirited and not grounded in reality.
History is filled with women who advanced due to advantages confered upon them by husbands and fathers.
Plenty of hypocrites on this forum.
Morality? You are a nice example. I have been nothing but polite to you and your are suddenly rude to me. Do they teach you that in Sunday school?
It might do you good to explore the connection of manners to morality.
However nothing you have said applies to Hillary. You are still continuing the weak tactic of attacking her through Bill.
"Hillary got certain breaks because of her position as Bill's wife"
If by "certain breaks" you mean "all her breaks," then I agree.
"This does not mean that she did not fulfill the responsibilities of those positions."
Oh, I totally agree. When she was on the board of Wal-Mart, she had a responsibility to sell out small-town America, and she fulfilled it admirably. When she was First Lady, she had the awesome responsibility reforming the nation's health care system. Which she failed at. When she got elected to the Senate, she had a responsibility to be a corporate whore and vote for the war. Which she did, admirably. Then, despite later saying that Bush "tricked" her, she then had the responsibility of rubber-stamping his desire to invade Iran and so she again stepped up to the plate and voted for Kyl-Lieberman.
Hillary Clinton: Fulfilling responsibilities!
"History is filled with women who advanced do to advantages confered [sic] upon them by husbands and fathers."
Wait, so you admit that if she becomes President, it will be an advantage conferred upon her by Bill?
"This is because it has been a man's world, pure and simple -- or maybe not so pure. When you solve the problem of sexism against women so that it no longer exists, then you can claim it is somehow unfair that some women advance in part because of men they are connected to."
So, I can end sexism if I vote for Hillary? I can end sexism if I vote for a female candidate BECAUSE she is female? I can end sexism by boldly supporting a woman who hasn't stood on her own two feet since Nixon was in office? [head explodes]
"I hope you won't mind if I dismiss your argument as mean-spirited and not grounded in reality."
Mean-spirited? Hell yes, with almost 4,000 American soldiers dead in the war she still won't apologize for supporting, you're damn right I feel a little mean-spirited.
Not grounded in reality? I thought you just got done conceding that she is where she is today because of who slipped the ring on her finger. Sorry if that doesn't make you feel good about yourself, but there ya go.
There is a difference between examining the race from a political perspective in terms of which states will actually most help a candidate to win and practicing racism. It is the delegates and the superdelegates who count in determining who will be the next president. As far as I know, none of the states is winner take all. Delegates are apportioned accordign to votes. I have seen no specific statements from Hillary herself that are racist. Please provide one.
Your last letter is all over the place. Before I reply to you, may I ask if you are also the Anonymous posting at 7:41?
Honey, you want a link to racist statements said by Hillary?
Here ya go.

One of my personal favorite quotes, though not one of the numerous racial or anti-Semitic slurs catalogued at this link:
"She shouted at Bill over his unfaithfulness: 'I need to be f#cked more than twice a year!'"
Speaking of morality, do you think Obama should be held to the pledge he made here:

Or do you think morality only applies to sexual behavior?
Surely you jest! We are supposed to take seriously a scurrilous "book" put together by a con, a man who was so threatening to his ex-wife that he served time in prison? Reinhold Aman is a crank of the worst sort:

Please understand that, as a former English instructor, I have taught people to research and write essays. One of the first things that I teach them is not to believe everything that they read. The second thing I teach them about research is that not just any old scurvy link they pick up on the internet is a credible source.
Everyone, please get a grip on life and reality. I am so sick and tired of reading people slamming each other and the other person's candidate.
Our world is in a mess. Everyday, the news lists more murders in Educational Institutions, homes and places of work. No wonder when the youth of America watches TV's reality shows, violent movies and listens to verbal attacks by the media and by the bloggers our world is a mess.
Are we incapable of looking at the issues objectively, or is it of no importance because we have let our emotions take over?
Is Obama any less guilty as Mrs. Clinton? Let's us stop this double standard and act like rational human beings.
