Attacking a woman's body or insinuating a woman talks too much are time honored ways to silence a woman and keep her in her place.

Oh dear, all us women who take offense at gendered/sexist language MUST be PMSing! Like I haven't heard so called colleagues mutter -- must be that time of the month -- when my response to them was not to their liking on substantive issues.
This is not feminist nitpicking, it is truth.
Menstrual slams are sexist. Just as your words are sexist. Senator Obama's comment is sexist.
That you fail to see this is why sexism is still such a problem in our society.
