If such incest were a voluntary relationship, he would have broken a major taboo, but so would his mother have. If it is to be construed at a sexual relationship he had as a child, he would be a victim and his mother would be a perpetrator of child sexual abuse.

The difference between male and female directed insults is that most men take pride in being called most male directed insults (such as dick, prick, asshole, gigolo, and pig), where as women almost never take pride in being called a female directed insult (cunt, bitch, slut, whore, and etc).

Douchebag, pussy and homophobic terms are the exceptions among male directed insults, in that almost no man will ever take pride in being called a douchebag, a pussy or a homophobic term, and douchebag and pussy are male directed insults as they are far more commonly directly at men than at women (so are most homophobic terms, but not all of them).

You're right about the link between misogyny and homophobia. I've already stated that though I'm an Edwards supporter, if it comes down to Clinton or Obama, I want Clinton to win because as bad as racism is, this country's misogyny and macho identity has led to even worse problems. A woman President can do a lot to end this stupidity.

I would like you to do me a favor and think about what the words douche and douchebag actually mean. Can you understand that they are also insults to women, that they are misogynistic? To call a man a pussy is to insult him by equating him with what is female. Many homophobic type insults are really calling a man as less than a man, in other words, more female. They are insults because they are associated with women or femininity. Even the words like son of a bitch and motherfucker, implicate women as somehow a source or sin or inferiority.

Many myths of religious or mythical origin see women as the cause of trouble. Eve caused Adam to eat that apple. Pandora opened that box of troubles.

We actually have a modern myth that surrounds the Clintons. Hillary was a bitch, ball-buster, cunt, cold, wouldn't give head, dominated, is ugly, is ___________________ (fill in the blank) and actually caused Bill to get blow jobs from Monica. If she had only been on the job as a subservient wife tending to her sexual duties, all that dreadful stuff would never have happened.
