A better rebus
The problem with that one is that they have the "t" sound twice. If instead you put in a pic of Scooter Libby, Ken Lay, Tom Delay, Randy Cunningham (or any of a multitude of others) Then you have Eye Heart Con Tree Music.
Fits better with southern accents too.

Think two steps ahead
I hope folks won't assume that these groups are too stupid to realize that they're building backlash support for Clinton. I think it's very likely that they WANT her to have the nomination and they're counting on knee-jerk reaction to this campaign to lock it up for her. Vote for whomever you please, but don't let the GOP drive your choice.

Back out from under the rocks
Its amazing the torrent of mysogyny coming up with Clinton's campaign. I've been seeing the word "cunt" in blogs and email to a staggering degree, all from men I thought were reasonable people. It seems like there's been a pent up need to describe women as a set of genitals again and has been released via some kind of tipping point. I have to wonder what women would want to keep company with a man wearing such a tee shirt.
Of course no one would make up a shirt for Obama using a similarly inflammatory word. That would mean a righteous ass-whupping.

To call it misogynist
implies the person believes ALL women to be cunts, which is certainly not true in the vast majority of cases.
It is less than misogyny. It is politically incorrect slamming of HRC, which many people think she well deserves.
She also happens to be female, but gender is not the point. Her allegiances, attitude, and other attributes are the point.

My aunt hand-drew all of the pictographs, and asked me what it said. "I Love Girl Tree Music," I asked.

They had to add the words to the shirt for people like me. What I didn't get the most about my aunt is that she is an avid democrat and didn't get married until she was 42, and probably a "country music" lover herself. She thought it was hilarious. I still don't get it.

Make a List
We need to start taking really careful notes on who's doing this sort of thing. Who are they? Where do they live?
This will come in handy when President H. Clinton has the same powers that Cheney has claimed for W. Lock people up without trial, waterboarding, cells at Gitmo, etc.
Like that woman who asked McCain what he was going to do about "The Bitch"... 1-21-09 her life becomes Hell on Earth.

You don't call a black person a nigger. You don't call a Jewish person a kike. You don't call a Japanese person a gook. You don't call a man a dick. (Are there similar T-shirts for Dick Cheney? I don't think so.) You don't call a woman a cunt.

For all of you who feel that your hatred of country music and the obvious white trash who like it has been further vindicated by this vulgar display, let me assure you that these same people are ashamed and distraught. No one yet has come up with an equivalent insult to cunt that is routinely applied to white males and has the same level of insult.
You are correct. Cunt equates to nigger in insult level. It imply not an insult to female-ascribed attributes as does bitch, but rather than femaleness itself. Even a nice and inoffensive sweet-and-submissive-in-every-way-woman could still be called a cunt. The insult is to the gender entire as well as to the particular woman. That is why any one who uses it is either misogynistic or else adopting it in the same way that rap songs have used the word nigger. Those turn-the-tables reactions to insult are not a good idea in my opinion.
So why do white males not have a disgusting name that is at the same level of insult? Because they are they ones with more power. People get insulted in that manner only when they can be set apart as an inferior other.
The arrival of these articles of clothing bearing this insult to Clinton are an indication that misogyny fuels much of anti-Clinton feeling. A white man who had precisely Clinton's own political record could not and would not be insulted in that particular manner.
