To another Anonymous, I don't know which one there are so many.
Ladies, I love ladies, you have it all wrong. This is becoming like when you're not interested in a girl who thinks she is really sexy so she says something silly like, "What are you, gay?" You girls just can't stand it if we guys don't agree with everything you want. I'll say again, I like abortions, it is all quite hilarious to me. I just wish you girls would stop labeling every question for women as a hatred fof women, it is very narrow-minded. If we'd all just start being Beings instead of genitalia and such maybe there'd be a lot more hope in the world. Go ahead, take sides, fuel the hate...... I still am not going to call you irrelevant, I'll leave that to your psychosis.
P.S. -Is Oxygen irrelevant just because you can't see it?

Exactly
So I advise men today that if you ARE going to have sex with no committment, do it without giving your name or pertinent information so you don't get stuck. If women have full control over their uterus, then guys, bow out gracefully and let them make their decisions.
women FORCE men to make this decision.
The way women act today by denying men a say in the child JUSTIFIES a husband going ahead and getting a vasectomy and not telling his wife. He is doing the same exact thing she is doing, not letting her into his decision.
Sounds FAIR to me, at least as long as women continue to think they are somehow winning this detrimental war.

@ 6Stringer
It is, after all, possible for both genders to have equal importance, and merit and yet continue to support the very real right of a women to control her body. To empower one does not necessarily mean we must marginalize the other.
Well said.

Hello?
There's this thing called a "condom"? Want to talk about your feelings? How about saying, "Hm. I love ya honey, but I feel like usin' a condom!"

Patrick Morgan
Welcome to a taste of my world. My argument has long been that the women on here are completely immature and unfair to men, treating us like tools or nuisances.
In other words, they completely do not deserve to be treated as anything CLOSE to equals to men.
Society is seeing this more and more and shunting women aside because women refuse to be decent human beings to men.

My new policy
You girls just can't stand it if we guys don't agree with everything you want.
I am mulling this over, is to do the opposite of everythign women want me to do. Just to piss them off more and prove I can.
I think a lot of guys already follow this policy.

If Jesus Christ...
...were alive today, and made a woman pregnant, what would he do?
The above is, of course, silly on the face of it. Despite certain speculations arising (most recently) from modern textual criticism of the Bible, Jesus, when he was alive, was never involved with a woman in that way. Most Christians of a fundamentalist bent (and many not so bent) like to take this a step further and believe, with some Biblical validity, that Jesus never even thought about such things. New Testament positions concerning this area of human relations were left largely to the musings of St. Paul.
That's all fine as far as it goes, but what comfort can a bereaved would-be father really get from a figure like Jesus, who not only never went through such an experience but might well have never entertained a single thought on the subject?

An Idea
The ability for a woman to enact her own choices about her own body is fundamentally important and should not be denied, deferred or abolished. Period.
In an ideal world, partnerships would exist where there is a balance to the dynamics of the relationship, and where open, honest and mature communication takes place at important points in the relationship. Unfortunately, we do not live in an ideal world.
I think what this men's group is adressing, albeit in a very indirect way, is the societal structure of emotional expression for men. It is the 21st Century and yet men in American society are still raised with a warped sense of their gender and their place in society. Men are discouraged from openly showing emotion, expressing their feelings and crying. Mainstream society expects men to be cold, agressive and often violent. I think this group is (whether they are consciously aware of it or not) attempting to address this.

Opt Out
Men should be allowed to opt out in the first 3 months of the pregnancy. At that point there is no child, only a fetus, as you folks like to say. If the woman wants to move forward with the pregnancy, than she is making a decision about her body at the time, and her indentured service for the next 18 years. She will not make the decision about another persons indentured service for the next 18 years. So simple.....So sorry girls, the times they are a changin', although it may take awhile. You will always have your right to choose about your body. You will lose the right to choose who pays.

"I am mulling this over, is to do the opposite of everythign women want me to do. Just to piss them off more and prove I can."-
Can't say I quite comprehend what you're trying to say there, but I guess I maybe get the gist. Personally, I don't disagree with anyone just to make them mad, I disagree with people because of how ignorant and self-centered they are. I think too many people lack critical thought, which is to say so many I interact with simply regurgitate stuff they heard or read somewhere.
Brightstar65, I can tell your mind is active, good for you, but we're not a team. I am not on anyone's team because that would bias me like too many are biased. It is simply my experience that women want to be right no matter what they say no matter the illogic of their statements. Actually Chaucer has a quote along those lines (but do not worry, I'm not regurgitating, I thought it before I knew he thought it).
