Yeah, it took me a while to work up to gay porn. "Queer as Folk" changed everything for me on that subject, as before I was stuck in the male heterosexual mind frame that male on male sex could never be elegant. But my wife had seen the British version on "Queer as Folk" while she was in London as a student learning English, and when she returned to Japan shortly before we got married, she was certain that I would like the American version of the show. I bought the box set of the first season just to please her, but I was surprised that I was quite taken by the show, because the men were so passionate and elegant in their love for each other (which in hind sight is amazing considering most of the actors in that show were not gay). From there I watched "Six Feet Under" to see if the performance of Michael C. Hall and Mathew St. Patrick could top what I saw on "Queer as Folk", and I was impressed by the intense hard core element that the two expressed with a twist of rugged romanticism. From there my wife and I were hooked, and we watched a lot of DVDs because we had a new born and couldn't get out much, so we grabbed pretty much any gay erotic movie we could find. Tony Leung (another straight man) was our favor actor in gay erotica, and most of the gay exploitation films we rented or bought were from foreign countries. Gradually we progressed to hardcore porn, which my wife and I like for different reasons. She likes it because the men are cute, and I liked the performances of love for each other that are much more convincing than what I see in straight porn, and because the gay porn parodies are hilarious. Though, I really can't enjoy gay porn unless I am watching it with my wife.

Yes, the exploitation of women as sex objects, that you illustrated, is very sad, and I was disheartened by the large amount of my friends that went into erotic dancing straight out of high school, because the money was just too good to pass up, but in the long run the pay wasn't that great, and many of them had horrible experiences. Today it seems like the exploitation of young women has gotten even cheaper and worse, and I hate "Girl's Gone Wild" with a passion (I will never let any of that garbage into my house). It's gotten to the point where young men feel it is the norm to expect any two random girls that show up at the party to start kissing each other simply by being asking. There is nothing elegant about that at all.

When it comes to straight porn, which I must admit I am more in to the Tinto Brass style of erotica, I search the foreign markets (specifically from Eastern Asia and Europe) and web sites for the stuff that I know I will like.

To answer the question, the true measure of success for a woman is proving that she is strong at whatever she does, and that all that corporate, anti-women, advertising shit isn't going to get her self-confidence or self-esteem down.

Anyways right now I want to watch Alice on "L Word" get eaten out by Cybill Shepherd, with my wife.

  • Yeah!

Though the Bratstar666 is a rare and intriguing specimen and it is often tempting to poke it with a stick, it is generally best to allow it to wallow in its natural habitat of self-righteous self-pity and human-hating stupor.

Or in the immortal words of some long-forgotten blogger, "Please don't feed the trolls."

YEAH!!! Men should only speak when spoken to and then say only what women want them to say. like meat puppets.

  • Suprizing...

That in todays day and age people are still getting upset about women using their bodies to make money. Women have always done this sometimes it has been the only way a woman could make money. I do believe women should not limit there possiblilties to this practice but it is a lucritive and quick way to give a charity alot of money.

Rosenkavalier, whom is supposedly a dude by the way, gave a quote that said "don't feed the trolls." He didn't say men, but he was talking about you.
