    You make a good point, but let’s be realistic. I don’t know any woman who knows how to fight. Yea, we should all take classes and learn how to defend ourselves, but who has time for that? Not me. When I was young, I had a boyfriend who was very slight. 5’7, and at 130 pounds, he weighed less than 10 pounds more than me. We would get into silly wrestling matches. I was in better physical condition that he was. I tried hard to win these matches and I never did because he was far stronger than me. My ex-husband is 6’4, 250 pounds. Even a strong, fit, trained woman would have a hard time defending herself against him. Let’s face it, on average, men are stronger than women. My argument is that, despite this, women still don’t have an excuse in hitting men. That’s retarded. People, regardless of their gender and strength, shouldn’t hit each other.
