  • now this is funny

fetboy, leftychris and AKA Smith fighting over something.

    for something like thirty pages.

one can assume two things - you are paid by the word, or you enjoy prattling on endlessly about whatever passes through your mind. im going with the latter.

  • Five steps to dealing with a bot

The five stages of dealing with a bot are:

1-Denial-"this can't be happening to me", looking for a rational discussion. No crying. Not accepting or even acknowledging the loss.

2-Anger-"why me?", feelings of wanting to fight back and win a fight when you still haven't realized you are dealing with a bot. You cannot win, not because you aren't right, but because you are not dealing with a partner willing to argue rationally. For whatever reason, they are intent on a conversation or dialog, they are only interested in promoting their agenda. For them, you are nothing but a hindrance and they rotely provide you with their talking points as though they were robots.

3-Bargaining-bargaining often takes place before the loss. Attempting to make deals with the bot. Saying good things about them. Trying to engage over and over in rational discussion. Trying to get them to realize that we are closer than we are farther away. Trying to get them to realize the basic unfairness and asymmetry of their argument. Negotiating with the goal of asking them to give up their bigotry, their irrationally angry and sexist arguments and embrace humanity. Bargaining to get them to see you and others like you as individuals to be evaluated based on your character and achievements and not as part of some group that they have been blaming for years.

4-Acceptance-there is a difference between resignation and acceptance. You have to accept the loss, Broadsheet Feminists(TM) are not ready for discourse. They are still in ther magical vaginal peace ray phase in which they believe that women can do no wrong and men can do no right. Try to find the good that can come out of the pain of loss, finding comfort and healing. Our goals turn toward personal growth. Stay with fond memories of what rational discourse could be.

5-Mocking the bots. Through mocking the bots you are saying, "I AM ALIVE. WE ARE LISTENING." "HEAR ME ROAR. WE ARE TOO BIG TO IGNORE!" "Your arguments are biased! Your arguments are ignorant! Your arguments are not logical!" Through mocking and humor you are not likely to convert a bot back into a rational partner, but you are airing your logic and most likely helping other people that still understand and appreciate a conversation to see your logic.

    HTH.

  • Breast needs to be exposed to guide baby to nipple

When a baby starts a breast-feeding session, the mom needs to guide him or her to latch on correctly, or else the baby will start intensely sucking off-center. Does Bill Maher intend that the mother throw the blanket over her own head, her breast and the baby in order to achieve this feat at the restaurant table? If so, this makes the mother look ridiculous and oppressed, even if only for five seconds. If Bill doesn't like a glimpse of titty, he needs to look away. The alternative is, frankly, nursing the baby in the bathroom. Eat a sandwich on the john and see how you like it.

And, some babies DON'T like a blanket over their heads; they like to look around and enjoy the scene. While you're on the john and nobody can look, eat that sandwich with a blanket over your head and see how you like it.

  • What's The Problem, Bill...

    ...you self-righteous ass?

I breat-fed in private and public over 30 years ago when obviously no one cared one way or the other. I was discreet and the majority of the time no one was the wiser.

The Applebee's that I went to once had lousy food anyway, so why bother? As for Hooters? Well, sure, that's what breasts are for these days: To flow out of your blouse/shirt even if you are a AAA cup, jacked way up with the latest $50 padded bra from Victoria's Secret that falls apart after 4 washings, and to make sure men look at them.

So, what's your problem, Bill? Don't like it? Stay home. You don't have the market cornered on "what-Bill-doesn't-like-about-society-must-go."

Real simple stuff: Either don't look - or take a good look. Either way probably works for any of us out here.

  • The irony: Bill "The Playboy Mansion" Maher doesn't want to see tits

Breasts: ok when said breasts are silicone and have nipple tassels. Bad when feeding a baby. That makes sense. What a loser.

  • What is Mr. Maher's objection?

Is Mr. Maher concerned that he might become sexually aroused and be unable to control his erotic feelings?

Or does the sight of a breast and possibly a nipple cause a feeling of revulsion in Mr. Maher?

Or is he reverting to or fixated on a previous psychosexual state, being "oral?"

Mr. Maher's comments reveal more of his person than he thinks he did. It is rather pathetic that the sight of a lactating baby can induce in such negative feelings in Mr. Maher. Possibly, those sympathetic to him should recommend that he find a therapist, who can provide him with insight into the workings of his mind, and exorcise the primitive demons that afflict him.

Then being a public person, Mr. Maher could report his findings and conclusions to us, the public, concerning the etiology of his "problem," and through such disclosure liberate others from the convoluted thinking that shackles him at this point in his life. Maybe lactating demonstrators can attend his show and conduct a "milk in," or whatever, to provide conditioning will moderate his response. Anything to help.

  • Did Bill Maher's mommy breast feed him?

Maybe he's resentful. Maybe his mommy didn't sacrifice a tit for his sustenance. I have always loathed his arrogance and hypocrisy and contempt for his audience--but then don't they deserve a little contempt if they put up with it? Salon has published his brand of hatred in the past. Nice to see some of you folks seeing the light about him, if only for a moment.... I'm sure he'll be back, like Jason, until we're all sooooo bored and sick of it and not willing to buy what (little prickishness) he has to trade....
