exactly how crazy people like smith/fetboy are
fact: Erection, or a full erection, isn't necessary for sexual rape. Fellatio for example. Genital rubbing for another. A full or partial erection can also be involuntarily stimulated even from an unconscious person. So clearly male rape is physiologically real.
If we were to accept fetboy and smith's definition to include vague and unverifiable "drunkenness" to constitute rape, even consensual sexual relations, then there would be many millions of cases of male rape, annually, in the USA alone.
Which isn't to say mentally unhinged people such as them on internet fora have any relevance per se. Smith seems to do nothing but troll BS and has admitted to taking anti-depressants, which wasn't hard to guess by her posts and state of mind. Fetbiy clearly has issues as well.
But as we see from Salon's BS, even the niche market they represent is incentive enough. Again, Jerry Springer, the Inquirer, various talk show personalities, etc all make a living by inflaming the passions of these unhinged people, with everything from alien abductions, to Elvis sightings, to televised fist fights, to extreme gender paranoia and victim mindset.

Agent Smith, since you accused me of being a rotten father for how I would treat a hypothetical incident to my daughter, it is completely fair for me to turn that around
and ask you a hypothetical question about a hypothetical incident about a hypothetical son and then determine what sort of mother you are.
And since the laws recognize a female raping a male through coitus, even though you don't, I would say that the scenario I pose is very realistic, and very relevant ala last week's grey rape question.
So I will state it again,
Your son goes to a party. He meets a woman. Both are 21. Both start kissing. The kissing becomes groping. Both continue to drink. Everyone at the party and your son and the woman all agree that the drinking was mutual, and the kissing and groping consensual.
The next morning both wake-up in a bedroom at the party. They have no clothes. The woman says that she was raped. She says that she does not remember the entire evening because she was so drunk. But she remembers saying no.
Your son says she was not raped. He admits that he cannot remember the entire evening either because he was so drunk. But he remembers her saying yes.
Your son stands accused of a gray rape Agent Smith.
Will you defend him? If so, what sort of feminist are you?
Will you not defend him? If not, what sort of mother are you?
If you decide to defend him, what will your defense be?

God how boring.
Raider6704. You say absolutely nothing of any interest at all. You contribute nothing, and all you manage to do is piss people off. Do some soul searching, and get a life.
You are truly pathetic. When was the last time you took a walk on the beach? When was the last time you smelled flowers? When was the last time you enjoyed music? When was the last time you had a good cry?
You are a truly tortured soul, so wrapped in your own hate that you don't know what to do. Take a look in the mirror. The world is beautiful, and you don't have to be so hateful. If you start on self improvement now, maybe in 10 or 20 years a woman might actually like you. I know it will take a lot of work, but there are people and organizations that have helped people like you.
You're very sick, but the first step towards recovery is admitting that your sick, and that you need help.
Keep this comment of mine as a wake up call.

I gotta get back to stuff, but this fetboy is one prime example of an internet freak. I should feel pity for the mentally ill, but oi vey...
And it really is shameful Salon is raking in the advertising from this tabloid garbage that attracts such nut cases.

ps
In many ways I find BS more offensive than the enquirer or Jerry Springer, because BS claims to represent "women's issues" and feminism from a left POV. Which is insulting.
Anyways, lunatics carry on...

You lost the argument (AGENT SMITH) anonymous!
Now you are truly getting desperate anonymous. We proved that you are a date rapist enabler/defender, so why don't you take your lickings and go home.
Or better yet, work on changing your ways. Maybe with years of therapy your XW and daughter might actually respect you again, if they ever did to begin with. It's getting sad anonymous, but I still don't feel pity for you.

(my suspicion is that fetby is Joan Walsh having fun in her office)
Just my suspicion. I don't think fetby could possibly exist, and I think Joan Walsh is having a bit of fun.
-
Everything about you healthyskeptic is offensive!!!
That subject line says enough as is.
-
Did you hear that Joan Walsh? I'm you.
Dear Joan Walsh
That was the greatest compliment anyone has ever given me. I am a fan of yours, and it feels great to know that I measure up to your level in the eyes of, for lack of a better word, trolls.
I love Salon.

You might want to try actually reading what I post, at least if you're going to "reply" to it. You say I'm right that the laws are flawed. I didn't say that nor did I mean to indicate it.
But more importantly, although you "reply" to my posts, you never answer the question: why do you want men and women treated differently? What's wrong with gender equality? Your dogged refusal to answer that question strongly suggests that you have no answer.
Also, typing in all caps does not improve your posts or the quality of your arguments. Feel free to continue, but I just thought I'd mention it.

aka smith
Generally, as the law stands now, a woman can't rape a man. Exceptions are obviously statutory rape and forcible rape by using some sort of an implement. The latter of course is pretty rare, I assume.
What I'm concerned about is the desire among a fair number of feminists, some of whom post on this site to deem sexual intercourse rape solely on the basis of the woman's intoxication. If such a standard were adopted and were applied equally to the sexes, then of course women could indeed rape men. It would happen many times every day. It would also achieve the (to me) absurd result that, if two intoxicated people had sex, they'd both be simultaneously rapists and rape victims. So they could both go to prison while receiving checks from the state's crime victims' compensation fund.
And if such a standard were applied only to men, then it's obviously misandric which has never concerned many feminists, but (again to me) has its drawbacks.
