    I'm the best!

    From the article:

"Maybe we're not laughing because she's a pretty girl; maybe we're laughing because she chose to go on national television, where she wanted to win a contest that included a question-and-answer session, and then made a total ass of herself in that question-and-answer session."

Exactly. This young, blonde, pretty girl entered a pageant not because she's a young, blonde, pretty girl, but because she thought she was the BEST young, blonde, pretty girl. Aren't we supposed to teach our daughters that looks aren't everything? It's what's inside that counts? If this girl weren't asked to speak perhaps she would have won. At least she was challenged to demonstrate what goes on inside her head!
