Bank robbers, firefighters and more

Men pretend to be women to rob a bank. A woman gets kicked out of a bathroom because someone thinks she's a man. It's a crazy world out there.

OK,

fatties. Where are the ladies names who are funny and very successful? I could name 20 more men, at minimum. Point proven, women just aren't funny.

questions for Ben

I'm just curious: what's the obsession with so-called angry fat cat ladies? What if someone's pissing you off right in front of your face, and you can see that they're not fat, not female (though if they're in your vicinity, sure they're probably at least annoyed), and don't have any visible cats? What do you call them? Incidentally did some woman molest you when you were a kid? You seem extremely fucked up.

And someone else said you're not funny--I think you can be amusing, though I doubt intentionally.

Have a good one, freak!

The same

angry fat cat lady posts 3 times.

another anonymous (male)

Obviously a woman laughed at the size of Ben's penis, and he's been traumatized ever since.

Seriously, never saw a dude who probably had less of a sense of humor than Dover. Wait, he probably enjoys snuff films.

forgot to add

Jon (NOT John) Stewart is funny, and David Letterman can be, and there are obviously a few others that are quite famous and funny to varying degrees (but Jay Leno funny? He's so lame)

It is amusing to see how you turn everything into a male vs. female rant, though...why do girls always have to be not funny/not good athletes/so inferior etc etc. according to your worldview, even when that was never the original argument? It's like you go out of your way to be snide and derisive. (Seems like you have some issues.) You sound a bit wired up...maybe you should go out and get laid, if this is at all possible.

Sunday, July 8, 2007 11:42 AM

First of all,

I'm not fat and do not own cats, just as you do not have MBAs from either Yale or Princeton. Second of all, Jack Black, Eddie Murphy, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler--I could go on....they are males, and technically comedians, but they are not funny. Actually it is embarrassing to watch them. The others, who knows, never heard of 'em and doubt they're funny. Now, take your prozac and keep thinking up more ways to vent out the frustration in your little life.

Now that we know you are just a fat complainer. I just scratched the surface. Women just aren't funny. There are maybe 5-8 successful female commedienes. They will never fill stadiums or command the salaries. They just don't have the earning power to bring people in to see them. People just don't give a shit about your fucking period, your tampons, your stupid cat, the guy who dumped you. These are not resonanat. Dumbass.

Sunday, July 8, 2007 11:09 AM

Go ahead, name them then.

Twenty five funny boy comedians.

Sunday, July 8, 2007 10:30 AM

I can name 25 very funny male comedians that are very successful, I doubt you

can name 5 women who are truly funny and successful.

http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2007/01/hitchens200701

Hitchens is so right. They just aren't. SNL has nothing to do with it. It is a general rule and truism.

Sunday, July 8, 2007 09:00 AM

It's not women who aren't funny

It's stand-up comedians in general who are not funny...and SNL is painfully unfunny, has been for years. Don't blame the women. Look around you at your co-workers, relatives, etc...there are some really sly, funny women out there along with the guys.

And if you're the type to cast a dark shadow wherever you go, people are not likely to be funny while you're around (though you will probably be the butt of their joke the second you go away). I'm just sayin'.

Sunday, July 8, 2007 07:53 AM

says the humorless troll

Dumbass! Dipshit! Asswipe! Alimony! Fugly hens! I'm killin' 'em out there!

Saturday, July 7, 2007 12:27 PM

The reason that most, if not all SNL women, or female

"comediennes" are not successful or famous is that nearly every one of them just isn't funny. Women typically aren't funny. No one gives a shit about jokes which reference tampons, a women's perior or similar shit that most of their comedic references are geared toward. They just aren't fucking funny.

Men abused by women. Men abused by the Domestic Violence system.

Here is a topic that all feminists and others should discuss: what is the nature of domestic violence against men? To what extent are men doubly victimized by their wives AND by the Domestic Violence system that deeply believes that men must be the abusers?

Catherine, you would do me a personal favor if you would visit the Domestic Abuse Hotline for Men and Women

The Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men and Women provides crisis intervention and support services to victims of domestic violence and their families in order to help survivors recover from the trauma of domestic violence.

And if you would read the following paper and post about it:

http://www.dahmw.org/docs/DAHMW%20Characteristics%20of%20Callers.pdf

Characteristics of Callers to the Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men

Denise A. Hines - University of New Hampshire

Jan Brown - Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men

Edward Dunning - Family Interventions Project

Abstract

Intimate partner violence (IPV) by women against men has been the subject of much debate. Feminists typically argue that IPV is committed only by men against women. Others argue that violence is a human problem and women also commit much IPV. To resolve these debates, IPV has been classified into two categories: common couple violence captured by population-based studies, and patriarchal terrorism, captured by studies of battered women. This typology ignores male victims of extreme IPV. The current study addresses this omission by describing 190 male callers to the Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men. All callers experienced physical abuse from their female partners, and a substantial minority feared their wives’ violence and were stalked. Over 90% experienced controlling behaviors, and several men reported frustrating experiences with the domestic violence system. Callers’ reports indicated that their female abusers had a history of trauma, alcohol/drug problems, mental illness, and homicidal and suicidal ideations.

Key Words: abused men; intimate partner violence; domestic violence; female violence
