Chicago condom:
"Use early! Use often!"
did you know that washington, d.c. had one this year? not as attractive as new york's. the idea of one for every city is great. i'd make a condom amulet, my specialty, for each and every spokesperson.
see some of the collection under "safe sex" at my blog.
The web site listed in an above post is for the Cabbages and Condoms Resort in Pattaya, not the one in Bangkok. The original restaurant in Bangkok can be found here:

You can clearly see the links to the handicrafts shop, the clinic, and the NGO on this site.
Yes, Thailand was light years ahead of NY on this one, and Thailand in general has had a far more successful family planning and AIDS prevention program than most other places in the world, including the US. I've been to that restaurant in Bangkok many years ago now...way back in 1995. I'm delighted to hear it's still there. And it's so much more than just a restaurant. It has an actual clinic where people can go for sex education, treatment, etc. It also has a boutique/shop that sells indigenous crafts and handmade items from around Thailand, and profits go to helping indigenous peoples. (BTW, the correct name is "Cabbages & Condoms," plural, not singular, at least according to my t-shirt that I bought there.) I believe the owner was the former minister of family planning for Thailand. He's also a vegetarian, and it's a vegetarian restaurant, with very good food. I ate in the "Vasectomy Room." And on your way out, you are encouraged to take a free condom from one of 2 baskets at the door, the first reads "Thai size" and the other reads "Foreigner size."
This is a states' rights issue, and each state ought to have its own condom. Texas, of course, would have the biggest one in honor of the current president.
A large conquest corkboard with.....
You can find photos of the Cabbages and Condoms restaurant on their official website (though the only condoms I spotted were arranged decoratively on a tabletop. Where are the helium-filled condom balloons???) Link here:
