Really. Anyone could master putting on make-up in an week or two, and that would include instruction or information on how not to look like a clown.
I suspect the target market for Barbie dolls is a lot younger than it was when I was a kid. My niece got one for her 1st birthday. So, basically, we're talking about little girls under the age of 8. There are probably a whole lot of other skills they should be spending time developing besides how to put on make-up.
