Physical size should not factor into who wins the "America Idol" because they are bombarded with the winds of change very soon afterwards. This years winner, Jordin Sparks is only seventeen years of age. To emphasis one's weight or size over talent is wrong. Some people do receive the perfect gene pool for perfect BMI scores. It really concerns me to see the subject being brought up so early in her career. Does anyone remember the Karen Carpenter story?? She too became the focus of criticism on weight. Please be aware of how media comments can effect youth such as Jordin. Health is one issue, but give her time to adjust to her new found position and fame. I am sure there will be many willing to enlighten ad educate her to healthful changes, if and where applicable. Thanks
Women have eating disorders due to their own decisions and choices. Do not lay the blame of this on the fashion industry or some similar straw man. These are personal choices to be obese, bulemic or anorexic.
As a woman of Jordan's height and probably weight I would say she is a healthy woman. Too many people in this world are "thin" happy. Yes, there is an epidemic of childhood obesity, but I bet if you did a fit test, BMI, percentage of body fat, cholesterol, etc. on Jordan, she'd not come out as obese at all.
Jordan, you are a BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED, young woman. You need to be proud of your curves, figure and overall personality. Don't let anyone tell you any different.
Unfortuanately, I know all too well the problems associated with being told you are overweight... I strugle daily with an eating disorder. I'm 5'10.... 160 pounds and wear a size 12. I have 20% body fat and a BMI of 24. Unfortunately, I could weight 130 pounds and I will want to be thinner. This will now be a life long struggle for me.... don't make it yours Jordan. Don't fall into the trap of thinness..... health is soo much more important.
Yawn.
If you are fat, it is your problem. No, the 400% increase in obesity within the past 25 years is directly from

Unlike you, I don't pull facts from my ass. I understand empirical, statistical data and put it forth as it is, without some fucking bullshit feminist spin. Again, this Jordin is fat, end of story. Salma Hayek is fat, end of story. "bbw" is an oxymoronic term. "Curvy" is code word for fat. Fat women get angry when men want nothing to do with them and make statements like "you can't handle a REAL woman", etc. Well if handling a real woman means I have to rope her like a fucking steer because she is so fat then I prefer a lean, fit woman. You can't be both fat and fit, they are mutually exclusive terms. You can't be fat and sexy, they are mutually exclusive. "Rubenesque" is code for fat. Curves is a club where fat women go who really don't want to change lifestyle habits to get in shape and lose the blubber. Fat women seem to feel that if they have huge fun bags that no one notices they wear a size 18 or have an ass the size of Detroit. Personally, I prefer a nice legs and ass over breasts any day. Feel better?
Because I see how pointless it is getting through your thick skull.
1. To reiterate: if you want to quote me on something I've said, pull a quote; otherwise don't accuse me of saying things I haven't said. I only use your exact postings to point shit out to you, since you've been extremely considerate and helpful enough in the past to dig your own hole for yourself.
2. You use statistics very selectively. I'm not going to get into it any more than that. It is well known that statistics can be grossly manipulated, and often are. You also use very selective examples that fit your narrow worldview related to women, men, marriage, etc. What is very telling is when someone comes back at you with a salient point, and you either ignore it completely (a typical M.O. for you), or engage in an ad hominem attack. Dumbshit, moron, loser, etc. Not impressive debating skills.
3. You are a proven liar. If someone in a relationship lies, you lose trust in them completely, and often the relationship dies immediately. Not that people here ever had reason to trust you, but you outdid yourself in dispelling any vestiges of credibility.
4. You are rather emotionally stunted. (I'm being kind here.) People tend to stop calling each other "chunky", "loser" "dipship" etc. after junior high. I haven't been called names for a long long looooong time. Obviously, I am usually dealing with people who can think whatever they want but manage to rein it in, or else really don't get very hostile to me or others around them. I am not sure why you are incapable of this, but again, glad you're not living anywhere near me in real life, and I only see you polluting the message boards.
5. I refuse to feel morally inferior to a liar. End of story.
I could go on, but have already wasted way too much time on you. Have another pseudo-happy day pretending that people admire you and care about what you think.
this but one of many many serious problems you have, but getting caught at lying about fake MBAs, then pretending no one else has noticed, is not a sign of confidence that you are all there mentally.
bonehead, but I will say that I have never once mentioned the patriarchy (however, I am female, which is enough to set off all the bells in your little one-note brain).
Again, I have never complained on here anything about my personal situation, be it money, health, relationships, work or anything. Complaining about you and what an illogical, misogynistic lying fool you are is not the same thing as avoiding responsibility for my own choices. I am simply observing and commenting on an unpleasant little bug that has crossed my path. When the time comes that I start complaining about stuff about my own personal situation--and with all the letters linked now, you are easily able to quote me--feel free to pull any of my quotes and repeat what you've illogically and erroneously accused me of here.
In the meantime stop playing the Mr. Personal Responsibility card when you are clearly someone who has made at least a few incredibly major lapses in judgment, if you ended up married to someone so odious who ended up putting you through the ringer. As you said of someone else, those were the choices you made; shut it and deal with it, but preferably offline and to yourself, so the rest of us don't have to read your bitter rants.
