    Could be worse

    I don't like Pelosi's wearing of the headscarf, but at least she didn't wear it elsewhere in Syria, as far as I know. I hope lots of people saw those images, and somebody made the connection: Syria is a secular state, and women aren't required, de jure or de facto, to wear those odious rags on their heads.
