Another reason to love Stephen Colbert

In his ongoing "Salute to the American Lady," we learn that feminism is as American as apple pie.

That's McIntosh...

...the variety of apple, not the brand of Apple.

Yes, McIntosh...

and ironically, the brand of computer on which the linked video clip will not play, thanks to Comedy Central's website.

Reasons to have cable tv

You forgot one more reason for cable tv; Bill Maher.

Oh wow why did she have to pick that fruit?

"Sort of like an apple," Steinem quips back -- "extremely healthy, full of vitamins and meant for everyone."

Funny she should claim apples are meant for everyone. Apples contain the same immune-stimulating enzyme found in tea -- one that causes my autoimmune illness to flare up. So apples are not meant for me.

And that nasty mean "Idiot Vos Savant" column of Rebecca's shows that if feminism is an apple -- then it's a tart Pippin apple, one that's too sour to eat unless you cook it with a little sugar.

I am the blue horse.

Steven Colbert honored me by writing and performing a song. I have been watching his show ever since. I live to laugh watching Comedy Central. Research has proved that laughing changes the little squiggly things that go slap happily through my stage IV breast cancerous body of mostly water.

So long and thanks for all the fish.
