The finger trick...

... is also supposedly an indicator of lesbianism. Doesn't work very well from my experience.

Fingers & diagnosis

There is strong correlation between the number of ulnar loops (fingerprint pattern – loop points towards the ulna (bone on the pinky side)) and the occurrence of Alzheimer’s disease.

Are you being sarcastic about diabetes?

Unfortunately, these "symptoms" sound a lot like the average afternoon slump experienced by a majority of overfed, overworked Americans with a few extra pounds around the middle.

What did you mean by this?

Did you mean:

Don't ignore the symptoms.

or

DO ignore the "symptoms."

I think you should clarify your message here, because, you know, diabetes and heart disease "kill" people.

Patricia

I think that they're giving an explanation of why people would ignore these symptoms. I doubt Salon would make light of diabetes and heart disease.
